‘We are having a lot of fun’: Dancing On Ice’s Vanessa Bauer reveals what’s really going on with Joey Essex as she shuts down romance rumours… after everyone was saying the same thing
Vanessa Bauer revealed to Dancing On Ice partner Joey Essex that they have a strong relationship during rehearsals.
Pro skater and TOWIE star, the former professional skater, admitted the pair are having fun but denied any romantic rumors.
Despite their public displays on social media and the rumours of romance, she said that they are just ‘just skating partners’.

Talk to The Sun On Thursday night, Vanessa was asked if there were any truths to the rumors of a blossoming romance between Joey and her at Elf The Musical’s London press night.
While insisting that “we are just skating partners”, she replied the same to any future romance.
Turning the conversation to the forthcoming series of the skate competition, the brunette said: “Dancing on Ice couldn’t be any better right now. Joey is progressing really quickly and he’s working hard.
‘He Dancing on Ice is something he takes very seriously. However, we have a lot of great fun while also training hard.

Vanessa’s comments come following reports that she and Joey have been growing close and are reportedly ‘super flirty’.
Despite Joey being spotted sharing a kiss with Love Island’s Maura Higgins during this year’s National Television Awards, rumours that he is planning on inviting Vanessa to his £3M Essex home began circulating just days later.
A source told The Sun‘Joey & Vanessa are very close.

“Right now, they have managed everything professionally but it’s safe for us to say that they’re both super flirty.
“They will spend a lot more time together in the coming months because of rehearsals, so it’s easy for romance to blossom.”
Joey is set to star in the skating competition against stars such as Patsy Palmer and Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, with the show kicking off in early 2023.
